Letters can make more than one sound. This worksheet identifies the various sounds that this letter can make in words. This knowledge makes it easier for students to decode words as their reading development progresses. They do not need to remember each of the individual sounds right now, but it is important to know they exist. They should know there is a most common sound that the letter makes (and they should know what that sound is), and they should know that there are also other sounds that the letter can make in some words.
